Riddle Answer

Last time I asked a riddle.  It was, "Who makes it, has no need of it.
Who buys it, has no use for it.
Who uses it, can neither see it nor feel it.
What is it?"

Nobody answered. The answer is "A coffin."

Obviously, the person who makes the coffin doesn't need it (okay, unless that person is planning on dying and being buried in it, but in general, that isn't the case).

Coffins are usually bought for the body of a dead person after they have died, so the buyer is usually not the person who is going to be using the coffin.

Since coffins are usually bought after the person died, the "person" who uses it usually does not see or feel the coffin.

Of course, there are rare exceptions to these conditions, but in general, they are true.

Riddle Answer

Yesterday I asked, "What can go up a chimney down but not down a chimney up?"

Briana the Magnifi-can't seems to have answered correctly, though her answer was not completely correct. She wrote, "t's bmbrsht..."

Her answer seems to be missing the vowels. "Bumbershoot" would be a correct answer as it is another word for "umbrella."

Don't get it? Think about it. If an umbrella is "down," that means it is closed. A closed umbrella could easily go up a chimney. However, if an umbrella is "up," that means it is open. An open umbrella cannot go down a chimney.

Riddle Me This Answer

The last riddle asked was "Riddle me this:

What type of food do you get if you put Fluorine in the middle of Kansas City?"

The answer is "fried chicken."

If you still don't understand, the common abbreviation for Kansas City is KC.  The chemical symbol for Fluorine is F.  So, you put F in between K and C to get KFC.  KFC is Kentucky Fried Chicken.
